Boo Hiss.
Michigan here, Ann Arbor area. 3" so far. About the same coming tomorrow. We were looking at mostly green grass. I despise snow with a passion.
Only upshot is that 3 month forecast states a little warmer than usual.
I figure that if it's going to be cold it's better to have a snow blanket over the landscape than just looking at brown dead vegetation

I plant a few evergreen trees on my 0.75 acre lot every year to add more winter greenery. I've now accomplished seeing an evergreen tree out of every window in my house, the tallest being a 90 ft. white pine tree. 18Z NAM shows a clipper in my area for late Monday night into Tuesday, thickness values barely support snow of course.

Evergreens are awesome to look at with snow on them. Hope you can finish the season with a bang!

Clipper dropping some flakes here. So exciting.
I'm not expecting much at all, but hopefully headed up to the Northwoods of Wisconsin next weekend to enjoy some great trails. I was planning on going earlier this month, but I've had other things come up. Snow is generally always great there because it is the same latitude as north-central Maine, and it has an average elevation of around 1,600-1,800 ft.
Yesterday officially we had 0.3 inches of snow in Indianapolis. On the opposite side of town from the NWS office, where I live was probably a bit more than half an inch. So far we had another little dusting this morning, maybe a couple tenths of an inch, enough to cover roads and was falling during the morning rush hour. The snow will come to an end over the next couple hours and then pretty much dry the rest of the week. Tomorrow night could drop to near zero with wind chills 10-15 below zero. If we got a tenth of an inch or more of snow this morning, that would drop us out of the tenth least snowiest Januarys ever. The 10th least snowiest is 0.6 inches of snow, which is where we were as of midnight last night.
Southeast ridge looks to flex it's muscles as we get into February. Just how big of a flex remains to be seen
