Expect nothing but blazing dry heat for weeks on end. It's going to be a bad fire season down there.
After 6 months of no rain i expect a record fire season in early May. There won't be record heat in Dec like it could be. Could be easy to see 87f+ if that super high locks more to the south.
I noticed as well that Florida seems very warm for the season. Immokalee is forecasted for a high of 32 on Saturday, which would tie the monthly record.

I expect many locations in Florida have already seen their coolest temperatures of the season.
What I meant was for the time being. You'll notice many cities in Florida (like the ones I was watching the forecasts for) are hitting their 'mean max' for December or a bit above that.
You might be right, of course. I can't be specific for the other cities I've been monitoring as I haven't payed close attention to their specifics, but having seen the coolest weather of the season may be the case for downtown Tallahassee - the 1 degree I saw on Nov. 24 could end up being the coldest it sees all season.
Temperature overachieved yesterday. Ended up getting up to 82F! Dewpoint in the 60's. Felt like May... Forecast high of 79F today. Front tomorrow should lower temperatures briefly. Marginal severe risk tomorrow also.
Forecast to get around 80F again later this week. May have a bigger chance for severe storms with another front Saturday.
Low yesterday was 61F - warmer than any min we had in the month of November.
Been more moderate here, but still above average. Got up to 73 F this afternoon.
Tomorrow is calling for a high of 75 F. Let's see if I end up overperforming like you did.
