About 20 miles to show time. Upper level support looks good as it is not going POOF near the land shadow and colder water. I hear thunder.

Won't happen. ECMWF isn't high resolution this far out but there is a potential for 10 inches or so with blizzard conditions.. Maybe more snow if lake effect kicks in too. Definitely going to watch this one. Could be a storm that buries us for a couple days.

Hmm.. GFS showing a ridiculous amount of snow. 22 inches for me and 23 inches at ORD. Looks like 17 inches at Midway. Ok probably well overdone, but I'm listening now.

Snowing all day here. Roads and sidewalks are a slushy mess.

The incoming rain should make for fun times getting around.

And Houston George Bush Airport/Austin/San Antonio will all have their frost free seasons/halftimes cut short with current January 16 forecasts, that's for sure.

Gainesville Airport will be basking in above-normal warmth in the meantime though, like the models show.
Perfect example of Dallas being a bit more like Minneapolis

I really don't want to be rude, but are you going to actually address the multiple very clearly explicitly stated reasons why that argument does not hold? Repeatedly stating a disproven argument doesn't magically undisprove it, by your logic if this makes Dallas more like Minneapolis you would also have to argue that 2018 Tallahassee is more like Minneapolis than Miami which pretty much disproves the whole thing from the get go.

Tally doesn't get snow. Florida freezes are unlike Texas freezes. Texas freezes stay cold.
