I'm guessing the Saab Islands are fairly flat? No highland regions in the interior?

If I were ever stranded on a desert isle somewhere (everyone's secret dream deep down lol), the dream climate (and dream environment) would look similar to this:

Month - Avg monthly high / Avg monthly low - Avg precipitation (all shown in degrees Fahrenheit and precipitation totals in inches).

Jan -88/79 - 0.75

Feb - 86/78 - 1.45

Mar - 85/78 - 2.68

Apr - 83/76 - 3.75

May - 82/75 - 4.59

Jun - 80/73 - 5.02

Jul - 79/71 - 5.55

Aug - 79/70 - 5.22

Sep - 82/72 - 4.62

Oct - 84/74 - 3.31

Nov -85/76 - 2.05

Dec - 87/79 - 1.01

Nature will be very kind indeed on this island. It has fresh flowing water on it year round from underground springs (streams with little waterfalls even!), and even a little freshwater lake. The island is about 2 1/2 to 3 miles long by about 1 1/2 to 2 miles wide at it's widest. The beaches are large and sandy, while inland it is a little bit more hilly (nothing TOO high or hilly, still mostly flat, just several feet elevation gain and a small valley here and there. Perhaps highest elevation is somewhere between 75 to 200 feet, most of it gently sloping though cliffs do exist). and covered with forest and a few fields. Bananas, coconuts and other fruits abound, with fish to be caught in the ocean. Bamboo is present, as well as vines, and even some aloe plants, among others.

Summer tends to be dry with abundant sunshine and hot temperatures. A breeze comes in off the ocean much of the time. Rain happens in infrequent and quick downpours that can last from 15 minutes to an hour but not much longer, and stretches of several days or more without rain is common. This is paradise.

Winter, while still very much paradise, is slightly cooler (if you can call those temperatures "cool"), and has a very high amount of precipitation, as well as increasing amounts of precipitation leading into it, and decreasing amounts going out of it. Rain storms, thunderstorms, and even high winds can come and go at a moments notice and are much more frequent than in summer. However, there are still plenty of days of sunshine to be had.

Yearly there are close to 300 days that could be labeled as either clear, mostly sunny, or partly cloudy, with the remainder being either mostly cloudy or overcast. Every once in a while during winter a cool breeze can make nighttime temperatures feel a bit colder than they actually are. Stay near the campfire or huddled up under a blanket in your shelter to stay warm.

Notice I made this for southern hemisphere, south pacific setting sounds good, though I wonder if what I put here it too good to be true. Winter is probably stormier than I put (although I put windstorms, I don't have cyclones in mine! These are much milder windstorms in mine!) and it probably has more days of cloudiness, being in the ocean an all. Then again, I haven't researched the area too much weather wise so who knows. (I have, however, seen The Blue Lagoon several times, and used to watch Gilligan's Island all the time as a kid in reruns ).

In the map here, the brown areas represent hills and mountains.

Here's an example of a typical summer month in Medway just to get an idea of how hot it is....

Usually high, as SSTs in the strait average 33-34C in summer but can reach 36C. Dewpoints are typically 25-30C, but on hotter days it is generally under 20C and may be as low as 0-5C.
