I prefer the sub maritime climate, like that of inland california or central north carolina

(temps in farhenheit)

feb ... 38 / 52 .... 6 cool,mostly cloudy days with some sun and some snow days

mar ... 45 / 56 .... 6 mild days and cool nights
apr ... 51 / 68 .... 6 sun, sun, sun
may ... 57 / 72 .... 6 some days of rain, some over cast days
jun ... 62 / 78 .... 8 sun and clouds
jul .... 70 / 84 ....8 late night thunderstorms
aug ... 65 / 79 .... 8 late night thunderstorms
sep ... 55 / 72 .... 5 sun and sun
oct ... 41 / 69 .... 8 warm days cold night with rain
nov ... 34 / 60 .... 7 mild days col nights

Feb - > 56/35 - > 4 inches----Warmer with occasional days of snow.
Mar - > 65/35 - > 6 inches----Some days of thunderstorms.
Apr - > 70/45 - > 5.1 inches----Beautiful spring days with occasional rain and thunderstorms to bring out the color in plants.
May - > 78/57 - > 4.8 inches----Still beautiful days with more thunderstorms then rain showers.
June - > 83/65 - > 3.6 inches----Afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
July - > 90/70 - > 2.4 inches----Dog days of summer!
Aug - > 86/65 - > 3.5 inches----Turning cooler on the last half of the month with increasing rain.
Sep - > 80/62 - > 4 inches----Nice and cool days with rain in the evening.
Oct - > 74/51 - > 4.6 inches----Same as Sep.

Georgia Girl's stats show a peculiar trend of rapid early spring warm-up, with delayed onset of summer.
*Raleigh NC for example avgs no lower than 49 F in Jan, is "only" 63 F in Mar, but already 85-86 F by June.
