Wow really that low? Our September average high is only about 1C higher than yours, yet we have seen high 20s/low 30s temperatures right up to the start of October, and the latest 25C here was on 18th October
Yeah, the weather around here is quite stable due to being directly by the Pacific. It's not really common to see anything higher than maybe 23°C or 24°C in September. Although keep in mind that record there was for the 13th only, the all-time high for the month of September is 29.3°C.
For today, September 15th, the record high is 25.6°C and the record low is 5.6°C. Average high is 18.9°C and average low is 10.6°C.

Ah interesting! I have always been interested in how uniform and low the standard deviation in Vancouver is compared to here, although I guess we are inland and not by the coast
