Re: the 6 seats- Sadly it makes sense I guess as WV had 2 million people in 1950 and now down to around 1.793 million as of 2020.

I'm ready to place a bet now that the legislature will find a way to gerrymander two districts that don't make a bit of sense.

I was actually wondering about that- You'd like to think with only two they will have to split either horizontally or vertically but I am sure they will find a way to do anything but- knowing WV stay tuned for a district that spans from Hamlin to Martinsburg...

The thing that would make the most sense would be to divide the counties north/south in a way that divides the population as closely to 50/50 as is possible without dividing a county.

My bet is that it won't be done that way.

It's going to depend on who their favorite member of congress is.
