I realize the state has a sales tax however, what I failed to notice until just the other day is that there is a tax from the sales tax, {wtf?!!!}. Maybe it's just easier to read the receipts from Target or that it caught my attention more so this time than at other times? It's almost like being charged twice for the "same" crime. Just chalking this up under my pet peeve for the day.
As if we're all not taxed enough around here.
We try to save when we can ...
Visited Maryland the other day and at least, saved on the total gas cost [2.53], as opposed to buying for the going rate around here at 2.75 [and up].

WV has two taxes: 6% for general merchandise and prepared food and 3% for food and food ingredients.
On a side note it appears Ledo's is open. I was at The Commons today and seen an open sign in the window and a parking lot full of cars.
I went to Ledo's over the weekend. The restaurant is very nice inside and seems just a little bigger than the locations in Ranson and Winchester. The place was packed and the service was great. I think Ledo's will do very well at The Commons.

I forgot to post too that I also went last week, it is smaller than the ones I had been to before but the service was great and also the food. To tell you the truth I wasn't expecting it to be because it usually takes them a week or so to get it down but the food tasted great.
It states that it will not open until late 2010. I sure hope they open sooner than that.
Thanks for the article RD35!!! Even though late 2010 sounds late, I'm sure it will come quick just like the construction of The Commons itself did.
I've been wanting to try Ledo's Pizza, but haven't gotten a chance to. I was going to try this weekend, but now I'm going to Charleston Friday with the Bulldogs (GO BULLDOGS!!!) Sorry, anyway nice article. -mmccul
So I've been wondering what Black Friday is going to be like at The Commons. I am going to be out of town for Thanksgiving week to visit with family, otherwise I would stop by to see all the madness. I wonder if The Journal is going to take pictures of the Black Friday madness like they do at the mall every year. It will be very interesting to see the first holiday sales season at The Commons. -mmccul
i cannot wait for more restaurants to come to the Commons...but I do find Jamaican Cafe the best so far...
