Really? I don't think I ever had anything there I didn't like (actually, the one dish I don't care for is Chicken Curry, not because it's bad, just there were so many other dishes I like better). And as for prices, I always thought he was VERY reasonable... of course, that may be because I'm used to the inflated prices in Shepherdstown. *shrug*

Danny Ray's
Georgia Boy
Amy's Los Amigos
Chef's Avenue Family Diner
Rt 9 Burgers'n'Pizzas
East India House

And now... 7th time's the charm... Bob's Family Restaurant.

I've gone there twice, happy both times. Basic American diner grub, reasonable prices. Open all day (i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Give it a try before it disappears!

Holy guacamole, is Bob's already closed?!? I don't think it's even been there 6 months! Last couple of times I called I got no answer at all... that can't be a good sign.

I stopped by because I saw a note on the door,it was from the owner of the building asking Bob to call him to discuss the reason why it closed, looks like Bob just abandoned the location.

What the heck??

I know Bob wasn't real happy with the location in the first place, he was well aware of its checkered past.
But he had been abruptly bumped out of his prior location, the Harpers Ferry flea market (I guess the Park Service took over that patch of land or somesuch?), so had to land somewhere, stat.

Weird if he just abandoned the place though.

That spot is starting to become legendary!
