Hi,

Here is my story... Thanks for reading.

Company A - I worked for 13 years and every thing was great. But I wanted change, I left back in year 2011.

Company B - I came here 2011 and every thing was going great but company was not doing good, they laid me off back in Jan 2013.

I applied to many places and went to so many interviews.... my old company (company A) hired me back as a consultant with no benefits for six month. They have some urgent project they want me to work on.

Now, I have another offer on the table (company C) it's full time job with great benefits. In terms of the money, it's five thousands less but great benefits. I get 5 weeks VACATION. Yes. its FIVE weeks, not typo.

Company A - I got the consulting job becauase lot of my friends recommdeded me. Is it fair to leave now. Not sure if my friends will ever talk to me or not. I didn't tell anyone yet.

Too hard to answer without knowing more about your other situation. I can't help but read this as "If it were me..."

Age?
Married?
Kids?
Own a home?

$5000 less is a lot compared to a $20K salary but to a $120K salary it isn't that much.

Benefits cost a lot, If you get them, that's less you'd have to pay for: Retirement savings, 401(k), PPO, Dental, etc. Tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees.

I would finish out the last 4 months of your contract with company A. That's problem with accepting the first job offer. It's may not be the best, if you get other offers.

In the last 2 months of your contract, I would start looking for a new gig. Then, you may get more vacation and money.
