What does a person have to do?????????? It seems like employers TRY to find some reason to NOT hire a person

Oh-stupid me!!! From a lot of posts on CD, the answers for us "lazy" job seekers are so very simple, easy, inexpensive, and so,so obvious how could we have missed them

1-Keep moving to where the jobs are
2-Keep going back to school to be a health care professional or other "flavor of the month" hot new career
3- Wear a suit
4- Work on "our attitudes" because it HAS to be our fault-There's PLENTY of jobs out there if you TRULY want to work right? (this one is really getting old)

Hang in there-Our day HAS to come, doesn;t it?

Don't forget, keep tweaking those resumes! Funny, I have gotten my husband an interview for EVERY job he's had since we met by my writing his resumes and cover letters...Guess I just can't write one 'properly' for myself because of my 'anger issues' or my 'lack of playing the game!!!" LOL

The Worst thing a unemployed person can do is complain about being unemployed.

I never complained about not having a job, only stuff like

Nasty Weather the Day of a Interview
Buying Clothes
Employers Cancelling interviews at the last minute
Employers asking if I'm employed when it clearly stated on my resume I wasn't

So I never complained about not having a job

Nonsense. You tried to gyp the system and cried foul when your personal fiscal mismanagement caught up with you. Read your own posts.

So says an employed person.
I bet if you were out of work as long as some of us you'd be pretty vocal about it.

I mean, heck you got a little bit of a cut check from unemployment and you were spiraling out of control and crying about eating cereal. You also constantly griped how you didn't want a job x miles away because you had bus issues.

Now you have steady wages are you trying to save so you can have a cushion in case you get fired/laid off again? I mean, if someone getting a check every week or two and who was steadily employed gets knocked out by a few months of unemployment what would you be like if you had to hang on like some of us (without a check kicking in by the way) for MONTHS and MONTHS??

Wait, you'd say, "never complain, just get up today and find a great job. It's all about complaining vs. doing!!"

I do hope you learned and have begun to sack away your paycheck.

If I was negative and blamed the economy all the time I would still be receiving a unemployment check
