I have had my best experience in Berlin. Incredibly easy to navigate with many different methods to get around. The S-Bahn extends to far out areas in the suburbs as well.
From personal experience, London, NY, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, were all top-notch.
I like our metro system but it's nowhere as extensive as the one in other major cities in the world.
Can people eat in the subways in Hong Kong,Japan,or Korea?I've taken the one in Tokyo and was left a very good impression but I don't remember if there was anybody eating in the train.
I like being able to eat on a subway. Sometimes you can hungry and want a snack now. Or what if you're late for work and didn't have time for breakfast at home? Have a muffin on the train.

Eating and drinking is prohibited in Hong Kong. Can't remember what it was like in Seoul and Busan. If there was a ban in place, I'm pretty sure we ignored it.

Um I understand that, but Taipei is a very small city. The average time spending on public transportation here is like 30 minutes,so that might make some difference.
And I guess people(including me) are used to not eating on our subway. If anyone takes out of the food and looks about to take a bite, people would actually remind him/her of the regulation.

That's because Taipei isn't as big as those. Don't short-sell your city/country. Taipei's metro is very easy to use/convenient.

Yeah that's what I mean,it isn't as extensive because the city isn't big.But generally speaking, the MRT is satisfying.
Except for how blunt the managing is when a crisis happens(like the mass murder happened last month).
