To answer the question "what difference does it make to non-Americans anyway"... well, the U.S. is not an isolated island. Anyone who becomes U.S. president will get to set a lot of foreign policy. This affects international trade partners, global businesses (whether their hq is American or foreign), it impacts defence, military alliances, and so on. Huge geo-political implications.

Oh, and he's a white supremacist, and a big orange clown, who would spout off like a big dumb dork at every G7/G20/World Economic Forum/etc. meeting or summit of world leaders.

That an American supporter of Trump wouldn't even have any of this in mind, that it wouldn't even occur to a Trump supporter as something important enough to take into consideration for a candidate... well, that speaks volumes right there.

For the record, I don't think he's the American Mussolini; I think he's the American Boris Yeltsin. That you don't think that you deserve anything better is a bit sad.

Now, that's not fair, Ariete. Mr. Trump doesn't even know what the KKK is all about, apparently. lol

Donald Trump stumbles on David Duke, KKK - CNNPolitics.com

JAKE TAPPER (HOST): I want to ask you about the Anti-Defamation League, which this week called on you to publicly condemn unequivocally the racism of former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke, who recently said that voting against you at this point would be treason to your heritage. Will you unequivocally condemn David Duke and say that you don't want his vote or that of other white supremacists in this election?

DONALD TRUMP: Well just so you understand, I don't know anything about David Duke, OK? I don't know anything about what you're even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So, I don't know. I don't know, did he endorse me, or what's going on? Because, you know, I know nothing about David Duke. I know nothing about white supremacists. And so you're asking me a question that I'm supposed to be talking about people that I know nothing about.

TAPPER: But I guess the question from the Anti-Defamation League is even if you don't know about their endorsement there are these groups and individuals endorsing you, would you just say unequivocally you condemn them and you don't want their support?

TRUMP: Well I have to look at the group. I don't know what group you are talking about, you wouldn't want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about; I'd have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them and certainly I would disavow if I thought there was something wrong, but --

TAPPER: The Ku Klux Klan?

TRUMP: -- you may have groups in there that are totally fine and it would be very unfair. So give me a list of the groups, and I'll let you know.

TAPPER: OK, I mean I'm just talking about David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan here, but --

TRUMP: I don't know any -- honestly I don't know David Duke. I don't believe I've ever met him. I'm pretty sure I didn't meet him, and I just don't know anything about him.

Then Sanders is a Nazi as he defined himself a 'Socialist' and Hitler was the head of the National-SOCIALIST party, same reasoning.
Secondly, the quote is much more widespread than Mussolini.
That has a glorious origin and as such it is not 'bad' itself and this comes from a person who comes from the motherland of Mussolini (yes, I am Italian).

What's in a name?

Hitler may have been head of a party that had socialist in it's name, but they weren't socialist, they were fascist, like Mussolini.

Fascism is right wing, Socialism left wing. Both extreme and unsavoury.

Sanders is a democratic-socialist, a totally different thing than pure socialism.

The ex-wife of this big orange goof said in a Vanity Fair interview that Trump kept a book of "The Fuhrer's" speeches. And he refuses to condemn or distance himself from all the white supremacists who are vocally supporting him. So there are plenty of signs that he's into the whole populist totalitarian demagogue career path. He admires opportunistic leaders willing to drum up support from ninnies who just want an excuse to stomp on other people. He's got a mob following, and that's what he's trying to win on. Go America!

It's interesting to me how he's used the media, quite successfully, on his march to infamy. First the tabloids, then getting into the news with crazy projects like a string of casinos that did poorly, sponsoring the Mike Tyson match, then doing The Apprentice. he went outside the box to use the media for self-promotion. He knew any publicity's good publicity. In the U.S., fame is what matters, not how you became famous. It's all helping his political venture.

The media keeps giving him an easy ride in the U.S., IMO. They hand candidates legitimacy without making them earn it. Infotainment is all that's left, there's very little true journalism in this campaigning so far.
