There's a TV commercial in which a consumer says, "I literally fell off my chair!" Whenever I hear it, I mumble to myself, "Unless you're speaking from the floor, you did NOT 'literally' fall off your chair ....."
Did anyone mention "hero"? I've given students the assignment of researching and writing about a hero, and I'm always appalled at the people they think are heroes: gangsta rappers, professional athletes, the owner of a shoe store because he gave someone a discount (yes, really). <*sighs*>
That one is so bad I dont even know what word that is suppose to be.
I'm guessing as well and I suspect that it is supposed to be error when trying for either "ethereal" or "ethical." I am uncertain as to which.
