It popped into my head when I was spraying some bugs yesterday...
One of my all time favs from a sports broadcaster, that I still remember from 50 years ago. The TCU football team was well behind early, as a result of a blocked punt, and interception, and a costly penalty. The PbP announcer says "Nothing keeps on going right for TCU."
It stuck me at the time as being odd to say that "nothing" could keep on doing something, especially something right.
