All good ones. I especially like coulda, woulda, shoulda.

A wolf in sheep's clothing.

Pulling the wool over someone's eyes.

Mine: Everything comes from something.
-an adaptation of Shakespeare's: "Nothing comes from nothing." Which means the disfavored daughters get nothing when the manipulative daughter has pulled the wool over King Lear's eyes.

I like the point that everything comes from something because people often seem to forget how connected everything in the world is both now and for all time.

Tanta-Snug as a bug...Gross! I never thought of it that way.

Here are some more I like:

Man, he's like tripendicular, ya know?

That chick Julie is truly dazzlin'.

Like they're staring right at us.
Gross! Let's move.

Hi, I'm Fred. I like tacos and '71 Cabernet. My favorite color is magenta.

"What's it gonna be then, eh?"

From A Clockwork Orange but no body knows it's a quote when I say it, so its a private reference.

^^^That's fun! Eventually someone who has seen the movie will get it. At least that's been my experience. My sister and I do this around friends and others with movie lines, and once in a while someone else will pipe up with a correct reply! Sometimes it's a person not even in our group who overheard our private game.

Seinfeld is great for terms and sayings. I like this one from Kramer: "Jimmy-legs."
