Never thought about it before but you're right!! Sort of like "everyone farts but silently (if possible)".

I know it's gross but urine is sterile (usually) so there's no real danger from bacterial contamination from it. It's the bacteria that come from the bowel that causes "swimmer's ear", which is very painful. (I had it once.)

As Ron White said when he was on a tubing trip down a river:
"We've been drinking beer and floating for six hours and no one had to get out to pee. If you can just float up to a friend and talk while peeing yourself, that's relaxed."
