Actually, those aren't the phrases I love, although "heavens to Murgatroyd" I'd personally try to bring back if I didn't sound like a complete dork. The phrase I love is one I just discovered: minced oath.

I never knew the phrase for it before, an exclamation without wanting to use a curse or obscenity. Well, that's what it's called, a "minced oath".
