About a year ago, I was phoned by a company that does telephone-based public opinion surveys.If I have the time, I always try to cooperate with these people, as they are trying to earn a living, and so, I agreed to be questioned about local newspapers by a young woman. Within only a minute or two, I was totally stymied by her question regarding my opinion of, "The Messenger Gazetty", and it actually took me a few seconds to realize that she was referring to The Messenger Gazette. This young woman was otherwise well-spoken, but apparently she had never previously encountered the word, "gazette".
I agree that these guys were probably not ready for higher education...
