I'm not catching this one. They are different, although the Imperial gallon is closer to 19.21 ounces. If you are putting fuel in an airplane, it's best to know which one you are getting.

I had to read that one over several times before it dawned -- the liquid Pint (not gallon) is 16 ounces.
If she had been pressed for details, I think that her explanation would have been especially interesting.
