I see a new chapter of festive history in the making in the Nevada desert. Burning Boat. It’s the lesser known gathering that happens the week before Burning Man.

How about Burning Boat Rodeo? Only use some dorks on dirt bikes instead of horses to zip around the fire. I'd pay ten bucks to watch a video of that. The proceeds might help the Boomers2 fund all these major moves!

From what I've seen, there are lots of Cowboy hats and boots at Burning Man. BB2 would fit right in.

Prostitution laws were optional by county in Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Montana for decades.
One county's voters would allow brothels, while the one next door would not. Typically, it was the lead city of a county that wanted them or not.
In general, brothels are safer for the workers and the visitors.
Sometimes, such as in Las Vegas or Reno, the city forbids brothels and the county doesn't.

While the brothels have closed, the laws may still be on the books, unused, but existing. Voters tended to approve of them when there were a lot of single men in a community who were working jobs that paid well.
Miners were one such group; in NID during the Silver District's heyday, Wallace and Kellogg allowed brothels because they helped keep the peace and the wives and daughters of the towns weren't harassed so much.

Mining wasn't the only industry that attracted young single men. Other towns allowed brothels where agriculture and livestock employed large numbers of those men.
