Well they are full o'beans.

Minus 15 in Ft Collins may be once or thrice in a winter. I saw -20/25 in Valley, Wy for a week on end. Broke all my water pipes when it warmed up. Lived in Alaska, the Yukon and NWT where it really gets cold. Most of our friends migrated to the Flathead (MT) river valley in the winter.

35 inches of snow is a walk in the park. When I was studying medicine in Chicago - one snowfall was 37 inches - the average is 42 inches. Nothing moved even the CTA trains were stuck - switches were frozen.

A better one since I moved to my GGF home and re-opened his clinics

If you're researching an area where you hope to spend the rest of your life, I'd invest as long as it takes to find the right place. It's always wise to visit a place during the "best & worst" times of year, like dead of winter vs hottest part of summer.

However, I suggest ignoring everyone's advice so we can continue following your entertaining saga and quest for the impossible.
Hahahahahaha

I'm still on the fence over whether or not the whole saga is for real, but at least it's entertaining.
