I am so grateful for this forum. It has been extremely helpful. Everyone on the SC forum, especially, seems so friendly. I was hoping someone could please refer me to a real estate agent that they really had great success working with----someone friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. My family and I will be going down to Clover/Fort Mill areas this summer with the intention of buying a home. Also, any ideas on where a family could stay for a couple of weeks? Are there any short term rentals or even hotels ,that come to mind, that would charge weekly rather than daily rates? TIA

I've PM'd you with a good buyer agent.

Liz

p.s. We stayed in the Extended Stay Deluxe in Pineville. It was nice and affordable (make sure you get the DELUXE, not Extended Stay America).

There's also Staybridge Suites (located in the Ballantyne area/Charlotte) which is in close proximity)

Staybridge Suites at Ballantyne - Charlotte, North Carolina - Hotel, Reception and Meeting Center (http://www.ballantyneresort.com/staybridge/index.cfm - broken link)

If you are still in need of a realtor I would be happy to refer you to who we used (feel free to send me a DM)

Best of luck with your search!

I also sent you a direct message with the name and contact information of a great buyer's agent. She was even very helpful to us through the email and phone for months before we got down here.

Good luck!

I would recommend Ballantyne or Pineville as well (with Ballantyne as first choice). Stay out of SW Charlotte if possible. The hotels aren't bad there, but Ballantyne area would be better and more convenient.
