Description: The perfect spot for a Saturday or Sunday morning greasy spoon breakfast, Lisa’s Radial Cafe serves diner food at its finest. The front room of Lisa’s includes an old-fashioned soda shop counter where diners sip hot coffee and read the paper while they wait for a table. The walls are covered with kitsch: think photos of Marilyn Monroe covered with twinkling lights, Mickey Mouse and Elvis posters, and anything else that falls into the category of “Americana.” Prices at Lisa’s are cheap and service is fast: Your cup of coffee will never go empty here. The stuffed French toast and banana pancakes are both great, and if you like gravy some menu items include a sea of it. The egg and cheese sandwich is another yummy breakfast pick. The Radial Raft is probably the menu item that best describes what diners find at Lisa’s: It includes a layer of hash browns topped with homemade biscuits all floating on a plate of sausage gravy topped with two over-easy eggs.
