Description: If you’re into outlet shopping, this is the place you want to be! Timbers Log Motel is directly across Teaster Lane from Belz Outlets and Tanger Outlet Mall. While you’re shopping, your kids can enjoy the Track, an amusement center across the street featuring go-karts, miniature golf, bungee jumping, and video games (see the Attractions chapter). The motel itself, however, offers plenty of its own charms. With a hewn-logs-and-mortar exterior, this lodging conveys the feel of a mountain cabin. It offers 22 standard rooms that have either two queen beds or one king bed and include refrigerators, coffeemakers, and microwaves. In addition, 30 woodsy suites offer a variety of configurations, including a two-level layout. Some are tailored to families, with kitchenettes and multi-bed arrangements that can sleep up to six. Some are more suitable for honeymooners, with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Timbers Log Motel was built in 1989 and provides three floors of exterior-access rooms. Pets are allowed with a one-time $10 fee, and discounts are available for the military. The rates are on a flat, per-room basis.
