Discussion: about adding more water to steam table, water level is not very deep, Pans used for serving are rather deep so water levels are low, cooks said that water levels are checked/ added to throughout lunch period to make sure water lasts.
Also the previous inspection reports mention a water pipe behind dishwasher, the pipe was not removed, but there is no hose connected to at time of inspection either, no cross connection or potential contamination observed. |

The second cafeteria was opened at this location to make room for students coming in from recently closed Durham elementary school. This location is used for k-3 lunch and 4-6 for breakfast.
Note the food is transported from the kitchen to the service line distance of about two hundred yards so food is only covered on cart. It was mentioned that when hot foods are brought over they should be the first items to be stored then the the cold items and then the items that are not temperature sensitive. |
