Menu served included roast beef (deli meat) sandwiches, baked beans, tossed salad and apple slices (sliced onsite). Gloves were available for handling ready to eat food. Discussed using thermometer to evaluate proper cooking and cold holding of food requiring time temperature control for safety with the cook. Also, verified accuracy of food probe thermometer and proper concentration of sanitizer. |

Menu for lunch was grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Though there was no food prep occurring during inspection, proper concentration of sanitizer was checked for both wiping cloths and dishes. A Fully equipped hand wash station was available. The two thermometers were consistent with inspector's digital thermometer when checked in water. Gloves were present. At this time there is not a regular cook. A rotating staff member was preparing meals. However, it appears there is established standard procedures when preparing food for the children. |
