This inspection occurred on Friday October 24, 2014 between 3:30PM and 4:45PM
In a previous inspection it was noted that your facility needs to have sanitizing test strips (QAC) onsite to test sanitizing solution concentrations. This is a repeat violation. Also noted in previous inspection the woman's bathroom door was noted as not being self closing. This is a repeat violation. Noted in a previous inspection was the need for the kitchen to have a separate hand washing sink. During the inspection it was verbally communicated that the new sink had been purchased, but not installed yet.
Observed compliances on this inspection included the use of hair nets, sanitary gloves while preparing food, a newly purchased digital thermometer.
Also observed during the inspection was that your fire suppression system is up to date, but is due for re-inspection October 2014.
The DOH inspector observed cooked roasts stored in the walk-in cooler. It is unknown how these roasts were cooled. Cooling logs were not available. When cooling roasts please ensure they are cut into pieces less than 4 pounds and cooled on sheet trays, single layered uncovered. Food must cool from 120 to 70 degrees F in two hours and from 70 to 45 degrees F in an additional 4 hours.
