  • Hot water not found at handsinks in Cafe Spoons. Technicians working on problem during inspection. Ensure hot water is restored to all handsinks and is at least 110 degrees F.
  • Bigger air gaps needed between sink pipes and the top of the drains. Air gaps should be at least two times the diameter of the pipe being separated. For example, a one inch diameter pipe shoud be two inches above the top of the drain.

  • EACH HANDSINK INSPECTED WAS MISSING APPROPRIATE AIR GAP BELOW SINK, BETWEEN THE TOP OF SEWER DRAIN AND PIPE (AIR GAP NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST TWO TIMES THE DIAMETER OF THE PIPE). ENSURE EACH HANDSINK HAS APPROPRIATE AIR GAP BY NEXT ROUTINE.
  • BAKING TRAYS IN BAKING DEPARTMENT ARE BLACKENED & BURNT. ENSURE ALL WORN OUT FOOD CONTACT SURFACES AND UTENSILS ARE REPLACED BY NEXT ROUTINE.

  • 229.166 (i) (1) (A)HWS not accessible. In deli area, cart was placed infront of handsink, blocking access to sink. There must always be a clear path to handsink, throughout work day.
  • Ch 13, Art II, section 13-26 Display permit. Most recent graded inspection report must be posted in customer view.

  • Meat Dep.: Meat saw dirty. Management stated that saw had been cleaned. However, pieces of raw meat still present on saw.

  • Bakery: Handsink blocked. There must always be a clear path to handsinks, so employees can wash their hands.
