  • Hand sink out of order in men's bathroom. Bag is covering entire sink, leaving male employees no way to wash hands in bathroom. Until sink is fixed, ensure men's bathroom is closed and unisex sign is hung on women's bathroom door.
  • A couple of knives found with melted handles. Ensure knives with melted and hard to clean surfaces are replaced or discarded. Ensure all food contact surfaces are smooth, easily cleanable, nonabsorbant, and durable.

  • Cashier observed switching between working on registers, dishing fries, and dishing ice into cups. Ensure hands are washed when switching from cashier duties to open food handling. An alternative option would be to allow cashiers to only handle prepackaged goods and bags (no open food handling).
  • Men's bathroom out of soap and paper towels at time of inspection. Ensure soap and paper towels are kept in stock at all hand sinks during all hours of operation. Violation corrected on site (COS).
  • Permit posted on wall is expired. System reflects payment for permit on November 14th. Ensure new permit is posted in place of expired one. If copy of new permit cannot be found, a replacement can be purchased for $15.45 at 1901 South Alamo.

  • Front handsink backed up and drains very slowly. Ensure hansink is serviced so sink may drain properly.
  • No accurate thermometers found for walk-in cooler, or refridgeration unit. Ensure accurate thermometers are provided for all refridgerators, freezers, and cold hold units.
  • Soiled taco racks observed with browning lettuce. Food debris attracted a fly. Ensure all food contact surfaces are routinely washed, rinsed, and sanitized.
  • Last graded inspection report and permit not posted in customer view. Ensure today's graded inspection report is posted on wall in plain sight.
