  • Observed several products that are expired; lunch meat, hot dogs, cheese, etc. Ensure all expired items are removed from shelves.
  • Observed mold growth on soda nozzles of beverage station. Observed mold residue inside ice machine panel. Ensure all mold is eliminated. Ensure all food contact surfaces are maintained clean to sight and touch at all times.

  • 229.164 (r) (1) (B) (iv) manufacturer info. Ice bags need the label information with the name of Manufacturer, ie. Navidad Grocery 2102 El Paso St. .....etc. Also, will need State Manufacturing licence for individual self-sale as noted in previous inspection.
  • 229.166 (c) (3) hot water sufficient. 229.166 (c) (2)under pressure. Need to repair handwashing sink so that hot and cold water under pressure are available. Minimum of 100F at handsink.
  • 229.167 (e) (2) no soap. Need soap at employees bathroom.
  • 229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. Need towels at employees bathroom.

  • 229.167 (e) (2) no soap. 229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. At time of inspection, there were not any paper towels or soap at the restroom handsink. Ensure each handsink is equipped with soap and paper towels.
  • 229.165 (m) (1) (A)not clean. Observed mold on lip of ice machine. Ensure ice machine is routinely cleaned to rpevent accumulation of mold.
