Observed employee beverage in a open cup on food prep table next to chopped celery work area. ***An employee must eat, drink, or use any form of tobacco only in designated areas where the contamination of exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; unwrapped single-service and single-use articles; or other items needing protection cannot result.***
- 229.164 (v) (5) Can foods - damaged, etc. Observed heavily rim and seam-dented canned foods stored on shelves with cans in sound condition. ***Damaged foods, heavily rim or seam dented canned foods or packaged without the manufacturer label shall be stored away from good cans and returned to vendor.***
- 229.164 (f) (2) (A) (iii) cleaning / sanitizing. Observed cell phone stored on top of knife magnet(on top of celery chopping station) resting on clean knives. Also observed food debris on same knife magnet. ***Ensure utensils are stored in a sanitary manner and are kept free of any contamination. *** Keep cell phones out of food prep areas.

- 229.163 (n) (1) eat.drink.smoke. Eating or drinking is not alowed in an area where food or food service items can be contaminated. Drinking is alowed from a clean, closed spill resistant container. Several open containers were noticed for drinking in the food handling area, open cans, and open drinking cup. Only drink from a clean, closed, and spill resistant container in areas where food or food service items may be contaminated by a spill.
