Please ensure that all handwashing sinks are provided with soap and have a handwashing reminder posted. Notes: - The daycare facility just started this week. Currently they are not providing any Time/temperature Control for Safety Foods (TCS food) to the children and no foods was being stored at the facility. They are not providing any milk currently. All food is provided by the parents and is snacks that are non TCS foods. - In the future they are thinking of having food catered by Whole Foods or Bon Vivant Cafe. When you decide where to provide food from, please send us a copy of the contract. You may fax it to (703) 746 4919 or e-mail it to: eric.spring@vdh.virginia.gov. If hot foods are to be provided, please ensure that the temperature of the foods are at least 135°F upon delivery, and if cold foods are provided that they are at least 41°F or below. Once hot foods are delivered, if there is no method for keeping the foods hot, then they must be served within 4 hours and any remaining food must be discarded - Please obtain additional chlorine test strips for the bleach to be used to sanitize any dishes and utensils.
