Obtain a chlorine test kit so that employees can accurately monitor the concentration of the sanitizing solutions and maintain them at a safe and effective level.
2830 - Flooring is peeling around the perimeter of the facility and in some places in the center. Cove floor wall juncture to no larger than a 1/32 inch space.
2890 - Light bulb over the 3-vat sink is not shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant. Shield or replace light bulb with a coated or shatter-resistant bulb.
2930 - Plastic is not secured around the edges of the slip up door allowing entry for pests. The other two slip up doors can be opened and do not have screens or another barrier. Protect the food establishment against the entry of insects and rodents by 1. Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings, 2. Closed, tight fitting windows, and 3. Solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Insects and rodents are vectors of disease-causing microorganisms which may be transmitted to humans by contamination of food and food-contact surfaces.
