After hurricane inspection. Evidence of thawing and refreezing of chicken inside walk in freezer. Power restored Monday at 5-5:30 PM (9/22/03). Food was brought from Rey Azteca in Newport News for storage here. This food appears conpromised. Owner discarded. Owner arrived, he was able to separate previous refrigerated food from frozen food. Unopened pasteurized and processed American cheese may be kept. All other cheeses, dairy sour cream, whipped cream, eggs, any prepared foods that have been in walk in refrigerator since before the storm must be discarded. Eggs, chili rellenos, flan were discarded. Sour cream discarded. Discard Rey Azteca foods in freezer, chicken tenders were not frozen today. These were discarded. Only use food that remained frozen during storm. Serve safe food to customers. Consider limiting menu until you are able to prep new foods from new supply. PFG delivery due today. Walk ins were running properly during visit.
