    Observed food in the 2 door upright cooler at 55 F. The cooler was unplugged upon arrival. The up right was plugged in and before the end of the inspection reached 41 F. The facility maintains temperature logs and a properly functioning temperature was taken less then 4 hours prior to the inspection. CORRECTION: Food was allowed to stay in the cooler because it reached 41 F during the inspection. The operator was instructed to routinely inspect the cooler to ensure it has not become unplugged.
  • Rule Violation and Requirement: VIOLATION OF SECTION 3-501.19(A)(B)(2)(C)(2,3) *PRIORITY FOUNDATION* The use of time as a public health control is not properly monitored, food is not properly marked or written procedures have not been developed, specifically:
    Observed the facility with cut lettuce and raw shell eggs out of temperature control. The facility had not marked these products with the time at time of the inspection. CORRECTION: The facility provided time marking stickers at time of the inspection.
