    A direct connection may not exist between the sewage system and a drain origination from equipment in which food, portable equipment, or utensils are placed. Observed a direct connection with a PVC pipe coming from the soda dispenser and ice holder in the drive through area. Two PVC pipes fell into the drain bowl and created a direct connection between the PVC pipes and the drain bowl at the drive through area. A direct connection between the PVC pipes and drain bowl can not exist. Create an air gap between the PVC pipes and the drain bowl at the drive through area of approximately 1.5 times the width of the PVC pipes. , Corrected: The PIC used zip ties to tie the PVC pipes to a metal bar in the drive through area. This created a air gap between the PVC pipes and the drain bowl of approximately 2 inches.
