Remarks: FLOCK OF GEESE STRUCK ENG AND CAUSED DEBRIS TO FALL FROM IT OVER CHURCHILL DOWNS RACETRACK. VALUABLE RACEHORSES WERE IN BARN WHEN DEBRIS LANDED ON IT. FAA IS INVESTIGATING. AIRLINE MAINT FOUND DAMAGE TO FIBERGLASS SPINNER IN CENTER OF DAMAGED ENG'S IN-TAKE DUCT. SEVERE COMPRESSOR STALL RESULTED. SHUT DOWN #2 ENG. COWL WAS PUNCTURED IN SEVERAL PLACES. #1 ENG HAD DAMAGE TO FAN BLADES AND ACOUSTIC LINER. BIRD REMAINS WERE FOUND ON OUTSIDE OF #2 COWL. A/C HAD A CREW OF 3 AND WAS NOT CARRYING CARGO. FAN BLADES WERE BENT WITH LEADING EDGE PIECES MISSING.
