Dash against darkness

Posted 01-22-2017 at 12:12 PM by Katiethegreat

Feel happier ,things feel deeper and richer but still sort of pleated in darkness.

Which reminds me my favourite lines maybe ever are from Cummings
"Alive with closed eyes,To dash against darkness", though new canto by Caroline lamb is still my favourite poem, and if I can write one poem like that I'd feel I'd done everything I wanted in life.

I'm learning the beauty of cycles one aspect of life is dying but new things try to rise with it.

Completely empassioned with the celts and isles still and am starting a blog.

I long to do the MA in Celtic studies like nothing else but cannot afford it. one woman I know, whose blog I read, is doing it and her work is on otherworld voyages.

My work would entirely be on the goddess morrigu - on war cry, battle exctasy, her prophecy and role as nightmare queen.

I would also do work on the Irish river godesses, concepts of flow and poetic flow and comparing them to river spirits in tribal cultures.Which seems right since the celts were tribal.

I would write it in a poetic intuitive way as well as intellectual reasoned way, full body, full balance.

Pondered all day yesterday building a little timber cottage in the Hebrides,it's so cheap
