Below is a listing of apartments by crime risk via a crime app on my iPhone.

My top priority for a new home is low crime, peace and quiet. I used a crime app to gauge crime at various apartments in Knoxville and around the metro area. Then I plotted all of the apartments on Google Earth, color coded by crime rate with green being low and red high. I wish I could post a picture. It would be useful to understanding the list below.

Without having a city or apartment to move to, I began preparing my move.

I got tired of Covid upsetting my plans to find a new place to retire. One day, I just started packing the apartment. Done packing, I just picked a moving date to aim for. Then I got quotes from national movers, picked one, and signed a contract. Only then did I actually find and secure my apartment.
