IQ Tests and Cultural Bias BS

Posted 12-03-2018 at 08:11 PM by Blondebaerde

Another absurd thread, that should have ended after the first quoted sentence: "...the most thoroughly researched means of measuring intelligence."

No one has ever successfully detached so-called "emotional intelligence" from g, the (g)eneral variable measured by standardized tests.

Those in Western education who believe they haven't taken an IQ test, have. GMAT (grad...

If you've never been to Denver at all, I hope these musings will give you some insight into what the area is like.

K7's Big Retirement Thread

Posted 11-08-2018 at 10:48 AM by k7baixo

I'd like to start what I hope will be an updated thread on our retirement dreams and plans as we progress over the next few years. This might go well or... not. Man plans/God laughs.

If you haven't seen any of my previous posts, I'm a very happy, generally optimistic person. While I can retire anytime I want, my wife won't retire for 5-6 years so I decided to work a little more. Due to significant headwinds at work, I don't think my services will be needed by this time next year....
