Thank you all for adding the photo of the ship model Puako to your web site. I built that model for the grandson of the last Commander of the Sugar Ship PUAKO c.1902. In addition to finding shipyard blueprints and log books with crew lists of the Puako, during the building of the model, the actual ships bell for the Puako surfaced! Additionally, the Honolulu Star Bulletin recently published a story about the Sugar Ships and the Puako in particular.
