I graduated from Auburn in the mid-80’s and we recently visited an old friend who lives on several hundred acres nearby. My wife is from Brazil and has only lived with me in AZ.

She stepped out of our rental car, took a deep breath, listened to the sounds of silence and gave it her stamp of approval.

We’re now looking for land there....5 acres or so to buy now and build once she retires. I’ll probably retire this year. We hope to live near my buddy...and his several hundred acres of hunting land.

Default Montgomery

Well stereotypically, Birmingham is the biggest city in Alabama which equals lots of conversation ,Huntsville is the most rapidly growing city which equals lots of conversation, Mobile is the jewel with Mardi Gras & such, which also generates some conversation. Montgomery is kind of slept on in talks of Alabama cities. My relatives from Mississippi actually thought Bham was the Bama state capital lol

Auburn is occasionally mentioned in the Columbus forum. I agree, there should be something created for Auburn considering the amount of development going on there.
