Quit acting like a know-it-all. It's very irritating to try to help people that are asking legtimate questions when you clog up the thread with much-ado-about nothing posts. Maybe you'd be better off over in the North Carolina forum. Then you can post about stuff you have first hand knowledge about.

I do post over there. But I am planning to work in Alaska next summer, and I am hoping to move there after I graduate, so I am here learning about it. There are a lot of people here who have been quite helpful to me, and I enjoy this forum (for the most part), so I continue to come here, just like you. All I'm asking is for you to leave me alone. Go insult someone else for christsake.

Also, it has been agreed upon by quite a few people on here that my posts clog up the forum a whole lot less than yours. All you do is try to hurt people's feelings. And you're not even good at that.

Now Warpt wants the arguing to stop, so this is the last I will say about this. I much prefer the days on this forum when you aren't posting, and instead of insults, I get intelligent, helpful responses to my posts. That's what this forum is for, so it's good that most of us use it that way. But hey, if you get your jollies from trying to make me feel bad, then proceed sir. But I'll still be here tomorrow.

Crap, it's Friday night and the trolls are out in force. First, ShipOfFools has been interested in Alaska and likes to contribute thoughtfully and ask great questions. I don't know why you guys have to be such total jackasses to someone like him... outsider or not. If you wandered over to the NC forum and left a comment, "there's lots of pigs in NC" would you expect to get pounded down by a Carolinian? No, you wouldn't. You're giving Alaskans a bad name, please stop.

Stiff be a man. A Man, not a child hiding behind internet anonymity.

I live in Florida, but - hey - I love the show and have watched as many as possible when I first found out it was on. I grew up in airplanes and have found Jim to be a terrific bush pilot. At 30,000 hours, he should be - and is. Yes, I do agree with many of you. The show is real, funny and shows how hard some people have to work, Yes, I'm an outsider, but completely feel for those who have to live in those conditions - especially in the winter months. Where I'm from, I keep reminding myself why I moved to Florida. Am I a sissy? I guess so. Like Ariel said, "I love being warm". Best to all of you who have nice things to say.
