After looking at so many pages just now -- let's see: you took the photos of the bears, too? No, that can't be right. Not with a 28-135mm zoom. I would want a 600mm!

I use a Pentax K10D with a 18-250 zoom. I must say I am pleased with this lens, even if it is a bit funky at times. That's the joy of digital, delete, delete delete.

Glad to live in the age of digital, too, although my husband still prefers film. But he's adjusting. Mostly because a darkroom takes up so much room.

Rather than borrow ALL the lenses, I bought a 70-300mm at Stewart's in Anchorage a few months ago. With the stabilizer. I don't think it's funky. Mostly user error!

Just to keep the thread on topic, photos that is, here is our local cow moose that comes around every day or so. She has a calf that is around also.
