If the weatherman is to be believed, and in Alaska I've learned that it's a hit-or-miss, we're going to get a nice little dose tomorrow. That will be the true test.

I think it's called welcome to the snow belt...Everyone has to retrain when the snow hits,...doesn't matter where you are, they have to retrain, 1st big snow, gazillion accidents, they just don't get it, man-guy calls me a grannydriver, and the trucks despise them, but I don't crash either.....and prefer to stay home until the finals, rather than school just starting

I'm not looking forward to my drive tomorrow, I can tell you that. Five cars in the ditch this morning and that was due to only about an inch or so around Eagle River. Once we get nailed with a biggie, I'm just going to call off.

Yuppers, one biggie should pretty much get the amateurs off that don't learn to slow down, the body shops will be busy and the rest of us go about our business for the season....

Sometimes you can't though, then you'll understand why it takes 2+ hours to go 40 miles. You need to be assigned to Wasilla.

We're actively searching for a location here. It's just a matter of time at this point.

How about in the plaza near Home Depot or better yet build your own place near Sportsman's Warehouse.

It's begun snowing in Anchorage. I'll be leaving shortly, after I visit the Mocha Moose for a pumpkin spice latte
