I have tried a lot of different beer. I keep trying them in case I find one I like or if my tastes happen to change, but so far I just don't like the taste. The closest I have come to liking beer were a few Belgian beers. They were ok enough to finish the glass at least. I prefer wine.
I've been pretty lucky. My wife really enjoys craft beer. When we first started dating she drank beer and I didn't. If a woman is not at least open to trying different craft beers before making an opinion, then I'm not interested (speaking as if I were single). Blue Moon and Shock Top do not count.
Beer can make you pass gas or get bloated which no self respecting women would welcome. Guys on the other hand think it's funny to stink up the place!!
I did not like beer at first. I was about 9 yrs old.
My dad would give me a sip when he came home late and was having one with a steak dinner.
I grew up.
Now I drink Heineken, mostly in the warm months.
I live in SoFla.
There seems to be a perception that beer is for boys and wine is for women. I don't agree. I like some wines, but on a hot summer day a Hoegaarten or even a Yuingling can't be beat.
And no, I'm not sure of the spelling so save the snark.
In the winter, I don't drink much beer. But anyway, it's not a gender thing. For me, beer tastes like, summer, rock concerts, and college. Eighteen was the legal age then.

The Blue Moon story is just as good as any craft beer (if you don't already know it), and the quality is more consistent...unless you just don't like big companies. I am a big beer fan, and don't give negative connotations to a beer just by brewer (...ok, I don't drink Stone products, because Greg Koch is an egotistical a*&).
I don't personally drink Blue Moon Belgian White very often mainly because I don't drink Belgian Wits frequently, but I do purchase their seasonal lines when I find them...such as Blue Moon Abbey Ale right now.
BTW, my wife doesn't drink beer, unfortunately.
