Default More Progressive Towns Or Small Cities

Greetings,

I have been told there are some towns/small cities in Arizona, that are progressive without the big size of Tucson.

I am looking for a low key, relaxed place, with creative folks, a strong sense of community and a good natural foods store.

I would be interested in reading about both North and South options and what is special about those places.

Thank you,
Bruce

Try either Prescott or Flagstaff; both are in Northern Az.

And; the Phoenix area, actually has quite a bit of culture.......more IMHO than Tucson. If nothing else; the Phx area has over twice the residents.

Stay clear of the Colorado River cities (Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Yuma, etc) if looking for the amenities you stated.
