Sunrise was beautiful this morning. We had a light dusting of snow over the ice from the two days before. The result was bright white trees as far as I could see. It started melting within a couple hours of sunrise.

We've had some great weather lately, very Spring-like but that's all about to end. Accumulating snow Tuesday night although the temps aren't looking too cold.

Love you picture. It looks like we are about a month ahead of ourselves this year, but we do need some moisture and my guess, is we will still get some in the form of freezing rain and snow. Several years since we have moved here we have had some pretty heavy snow in March.

mother nature isn't always fair is she? We need the rain we are getting, not too much, just a constant sprinkle most of the day, which will be over, probably today or tomorrow and then, like you say, SoAR is getting flooded as well as La. and parts of Texas.

I've had snow on the ground at my house since it fell Sunday night and then topped with a little ice from last night. Should get a little more over the next day or so. I did Wal Mart'in yesterday. As I was driving home, coming up the mountain sound of Jasper on Hwy 7, I watched the thermometer drop 10 degrees in about 3 miles and the windshield started icing up right under the windshield wipers. Needless to say, I putted the rest of the way on Hwy 7 till I reached home.
