it doesn't have a lot to offer, other than the big jars they have with clueless history attached.
their culture can also be seen in chiangmai, thailand (they are the same people)
Only entertainment is tubing, but hey you can do that anywhere.
Yeah Laos does seem a bit dull, I think it's attraction is it's rural idyll...I think it attracts tourists because it's cheap too and then there's the sore on it called Vang Vieng.

I worked in manila but it could be the few places on earth where you see everything-is-in-there thing. Some parts maybe gritty, some parts luxurious but overall its a city of man. The metro is bustling with activity and in general is quite impressive! Really a metro of this century, may not be the perfect example but definitely not bad as you think so...

Yeah actually I don't only wanna see 'nice' places. There's an element of perverse voyeurism, but I also wanna see the bad parts, warts and all, to see how people live and understand how better I can help them. I'd want a guide though - preferably one who knows martial arts or is armed with an AK-47 lol jk. I mean that cemetery where people live would be a fascinating place to visit, have you been?

Hahaha... Then Manila is not where you want to go. Try Zamboanga City if you want AK-47 in action.

I meant like the idea of going to NK or seeing slums, it's sort of like seeing a car crash.

If there's a car crash most people would stand and gawk. So then most people have psychological perversions...
